Utilising WeatherGuards is a simple and efficient method to keep your outdoor furniture in great shape and well shielded.

Follow these steps to properly cover and protect your furniture.

Why You Need a WeatherGuard

  • Protects against weather, dust, and grime, keeping your furniture in top condition.
  • Keeps your furniture clean and ready to use without frequent cleaning.
  • Designed to withstand the harsh Australian weather, with a 2-year warranty for peace of mind.

Key Features and Benefits

Lightweight and Easy to Use: The new lightweight finish makes covering your outdoor products easy.

High Protection: Reflective coating helps shield against the sun, while water resistance keeps out moisture, dust, plant matter, and animal droppings.

Breathing Vents: Integrated vents maintain airflow to prevent mold growth (except for ottomans).

Reversible Design: Suitable for both left-hand and right-hand configurations on asymmetrical products.

Secure Fit: Side release buckles or press studs ensure covers stay in place even during high winds.

Ways to Safeguard Your Outdoor Furniture

1. Is Your Furniture Symmetrical or Asymmetrical?

Determine if your furniture is symmetrical (same on both sides) or asymmetrical (different on each side).

2. Getting Your Furniture Ready

  • Ensure your furniture is clean and dry before covering.
  • For symmetrical furniture, place back cushions rear side down on the seats.
  • For asymmetrical furniture, place back cushions in front of the back frames or on the seats, depending on the model.

3. Selecting the Right Cover

Choose a WeatherGuard cover that fits your furniture type and configuration (e.g., full package cover or individual platform cover).

4. Covering Your Furniture

  • Ensure all arms and backrests are in their most upright position. Place back cushions rear side down on the seats.
  • Remove the cover from the storage pouch.
  • Spread the cover over the furniture, ensuring elasticised edges are under the furniture bottom or align with the arm/shelf cavity or chaise extension.
  • Lift the storage pouch onto the seat cushion or between the seat and platform.
  • Secure the cover by connecting side release clips or press studs around the furniture legs or under the sofa.

5. Checking and Adjusting

  • Ensure the cover is properly aligned and all securing methods are fastened.
  • Make sure the storage pouch is lifted to avoid water accumulation.
