Keeping your fabric sofa clean and in top condition is easier than you might think. Here's a straightforward approach to handle stains and maintain your sofa:

1. Regular Vacuum

To clean seats, armrests, and headrests, use a gentle brush attachment with low suction while vacuuming. This will help eliminate dust and avoid dirt getting stuck in the fabric.

2. Act Quickly on Spills

Clean up spills promptly to avoid stains from becoming permanent. For optimal fabric protection, think about using a product such as KingGuard+®. Contact our Showroom to confirm if it has been applied to your sofa.

3. Use the Right Cleaners

Use only cleaners that are made for your sofa's fabric to prevent any harm. King-Care® products are suitable product for cleaning and safeguarding your sofa. Apply these cleaners every 6 to 8 weeks, but do not clean excessively.

4. Handle Pilling with Care

Pilling is normal with regular use. A Fabric Pill Remover can easily get rid of these tiny balls without harming the fabric.

5. Avoid Harsh Products

Never use detergents, alcohol, or unsuitable chemicals on your sofa. These can cause damage and discolouration.

6. Protect from Heat

Keep the sofa away from heaters to prevent fabric deterioration. Also, try to minimise pet contact to avoid wear and tear from natural oils and dirt.

7. Deal with Spills Smartly

For liquid spills, blot with a super-absorbent cloth without rubbing. Let the area air dry.

8. Regular Protection

Applying a fabric protection product can help extend your sofa's life. Even with protection, regular vacuuming is necessary. Consider professional cleaning every 12 to 18 months for a deep clean.
