Wireless Charging Solutions for the Latest iPhone Models

The following troubleshooting steps will address wireless charging issues with the latest iPhone models and iOS release. 

Update to the Latest iOS Version (16.3.1)

    1. Connect the iPhone to a Wi-Fi network.
    2. Open the 'Settings' app.
    3. Select 'General'.
    4. Choose 'Software Update'.
    5. If iOS 16.3.1 is available, select 'Download and Install'.

Complete a Force Restart

After updating the iOS, perform a force restart on the iPhone by:

    1. Pressing and quickly releasing the 'Volume Up' button.
    2. Pressing and quickly releasing the 'Volume Down' button.
    3. Pressing and holding the 'Side' button until the Apple logo appears.

Remove Non-Qi Certified Cases

Ensure any phone cases used are Qi-certified. Non-Qi certified cases can hinder wireless charging capabilities.

Special Consideration for iPhone 14 Pro Models

Apple are aware that for iPhone 14 Pro models, the thickness of the camera bezel may interfere with wireless charging. This is due to the bezel preventing the phone from laying completely flat on the charging surface. See image below:
