Warranty Periods for Indoor Products

To ensure your peace of mind, we offer comprehensive warranty coverage for our indoor products, detailed as follows:

1. Steel or Alloy Frames

  • Warranty Period: 25 years from the date of delivery.
  • Coverage: This warranty covers any structural defects in the steel or alloy frames of our indoor furniture.
  • Exclusions: Products used for commercial purposes are not covered under this warranty.

2. Sofa Accessories

  • Warranty Period: 2 years from the date of delivery.
  • Coverage: Includes non-electrical accessories associated with our sofas.
  • Exclusions: Electrical accessories and products used for commercial purposes are excluded.

3. Electrical Accessories

  • Warranty Period: 1 year (12 months) from the date of delivery.
  • Coverage: Covers all electrical components of our indoor products.
  • Exclusions: Products used for commercial purposes are not covered.

4. Other Components

  • Warranty Period: 15 years from the date of delivery, according to the Pro Rata Schedule.
  • Coverage: This includes foam, feather and fibre fillings, suspension, springs, mechanisms (such as sofa and storage bed mechanisms), hydraulics, zippers, touch fasteners, and legs.
  • Exclusions: Electrical and motion components, as well as products used for commercial purposes, are excluded.

For example, if a component requires replacement in year 3, you would be responsible for 25% of the retail replacement cost. 

5. King Leather and King Fabric Components

  • Warranty Period: 5 years from the date of delivery, according to the Pro Rata Schedule.
  • Coverage: Applies to leather and fabric materials used in our indoor products.
  • Exclusions: Products used for commercial purposes are not covered.

Pro Rata Schedule for King Leather and King Fabric Components:

  • Years 0-1: Free
  • Years 1-2: Free
  • Years 2-3: 60% of the retail replacement cost
  • Years 3-4: 70%
  • Years 4-5: 80%

For instance, if a fabric component needs replacement in year 3, you would be responsible for 60% of the retail replacement cost. Refer to Pro-Rata Schedule here.

Additional Information:

  • Service Calls and Transport Costs: These are charged to the purchaser at standard King rates.
  • Commercial Use: Products used for commercial purposes have specific warranty conditions and may not be covered under the standard warranty.

Extended Warranty

We provide a 3-Year Extended Warranty for our electronics and motion components, adding three years to the standard 2-year warranty for a total of five years. This warranty must be purchased at the time of the original product purchase. It is available only to customers in metropolitan areas with a King showroom, and the product must stay at that address for the warranty duration.
