King Living Warranty Periods and Exclusions

Here’s a breakdown of our warranty coverage to help you understand what’s covered, for how long, and any specific exclusions.

Electronics and Motion Components

• Standard Warranty: 2 years on all King Living branded products.
• Extended Warranty (Optional): 5 years with the purchase of a 3-Year Extended Warranty (includes the initial 2-year coverage plus an additional 3 years).
  • Note: The extended warranty must be purchased at the time of original purchase to be valid.

Sleep+ Products

• Warranty Period: 15 years with a pro-rata schedule based on replacement costs.
  • Pro-Rata Coverage Breakdown:
    • Years 0-1: Free
    • Years 1-2: Free
    • Year 2-3: 25% of replacement cost
    • Increments continue annually up to Year 14-15: 95% of replacement cost.

Example: If a part costing $100 requires replacement in year 3, the replacement cost to the purchaser would be $25.

• Exclusions: Transportation costs, charged at standard King rates.

Fit Covers

• Warranty Period: 2 years
• Exclusions: No additional specific exclusions apply.

Case Goods and King Furniture for Bedroom, Dining Room, Living Room, and Furnishings

• Warranty Period: 2 years
• Exclusions: Only covers specific ranges within the King product line, excluding other brands or ranges.

King Lighting Products

• Warranty Period: 1 year
• Exclusions: Lightbulbs are provided at King’s discretion and are not covered under warranty.

Rugs by King

• Warranty Period: 1 year
• Exclusions: Covers only rugs under the King brand and excludes other rug collections.

Umbrellas (Whitehaven + Hyams)

1. Canopy Fabric
   • Warranty Period: 5 years
   • Exclusions: None specifically noted for fabric.
2. Umbrella Frame
   • Warranty Period: 2 years
   • Exclusions: Electrical and motion components, corrosion due to seafront or chlorinated environments, general wear and tear on the surface, and staining that cannot be resolved through standard cleaning.

Pool Float

• Warranty Period: 1 year (covers fabric cover, inner core, and electric pump)
• Exclusions: Color fading from direct sunlight or seafront conditions, as well as other unlisted parts.

King Sofa Bed

• Warranty Period: 10 years on the foam, the primary component of the sofa bed.
• Exclusions: Hook and loop fasteners, steel frame (covered separately), and fabric covers.
